ALPHA's 2nd Symposium was held on Thursday, 31 July 2008 at Silks Cafe.

Orator for the evening was the Chief Judge of the District Court, Justice Blanch.

*SOCRATES - Classical Greek Philosopher - 470 BC - 399 BC - from the Apologia (the Apology) after he was named by the Oracle of Delphi as the wisest man in Ancient Greece leading to a series of events culminating in his trial, then his conviction before a Jury of 499 Athenians which led to his death sentence and his death by imbibing poison.
